So we have started to wash the house on the outside. That’s no job for whimps.. Bill is up on a ladder 7 metres high (our house is almost a hundred years old) with his hip joined together with 2 plates and 14 screws. I started out feeling like crying. At the end of the day I had gotten over it or the most part- at least I didn’t feel like crying the whole time. Half the house is cleaned now. Bill was out there yesterday too, in pouring rain, cleaning the other high spot.
I was in the house entertaining our visitors that arrived at lunch time; my cousin and her two-year old daughter. They stayed overnight and left this evening. We’ve been inside mostly, it rained to hard. We did go for a walk today though, it’s been overcast and a couple of small showers but that’s all. Mom was here today too and we had lunch and supper together. The girls had to go to rehearsal for Marispelet but were home by supper time.
Young cousins are refreshing to talk to when you usually talk to people around 50.. (and students up to 12)
Little two year old girls are full of sugar and spice… and they like chocolate pudding!
