Holidayyyyy!

I had my last day at work before Christmas today! A girl in grade 6 gave me thisone, she made it at the Christmas Workshop we had at school on Tuesday and Wednesday:

Tomorrow is study day and I sure need to study, but still it’s officially Christmas Holiday for me now. Studying by my own fireplace in my own couch is definetly not the same as heading out in the cold of the dark winter morning. And it’s freezing cold today. Minus 7 Celcius, pluss a windchill that goes right to the bones! This morning I sat in the car trying to get the temperature up inside while waiting for Kristi. I took this shot:

Bill is at this moment putting on long underwear to take Emma out for the evening walk. As for me I’m just going to do some chores around the house.. Nothing really ambitious or anything, but still. Just trying to get rid of the heap of  clothing long overdue for ironing would e an accomplishment. I’m close to finishing my antibiotics, round 2, and I feel better event though I sound like a person with a heavy cold still.

I have made hot chili tonight and the girls will have their supper when they return from the last rehearsal for the Christmas play they are in this weekend. They are also part of an exhibition of drawings and paintings that their art class is putting on at the same time.
