..we are up there. Everything is packed. By “everything” I mean “everything -I- think-we -need”.
I didn’tmean “everything-we-have-in-our-house-except-furniture”… although it may seem that way! The stairs outside are jam packed with bags and cardboard boxes: Necessary nutrition. Not-so-necessary nutrition. Necessary fluids. Not -so …. you know! Knitting. Some more knitting. Audio books. Even a computer or two.
The skis are on the roof of the car, Kristi’s friend has arrived with her stuff and Bill is ready to drag a load in on His Vintage Pride of a Snowmobile. I took one look at all of us – and all our stuff- and just went straight to the phone and ordered a snowmobile-taxi, too. It’s snowing like crazy and a bit windy so why pretend we’re a polar expedition when we can get loads off our backs and our butts onto a sled- or two 😀 GIDDY-UP!
Bill and His Vintage Pride and Joy. Photo taken before he got the decals etc on there..
