I was up early and I have been sitting here in the quiteness with a coffee, the paper, toast with berries from last year. I organized my freezer last night and brought out some berries from last fall while putting in the ones from this year. I also cleaned my fridge and BEHIND it , too. I was very pleased with myself afterwards. Today I feel like starting on some embroidery I have planned to begin this fall. Speaking of needlework:

Jude Hill has an amazing blog about her stitched art It would be all wrong to call it a quilting blog because it is beyond that. It is storytelling with fabric and embroidery floss- and tons more. You have to go visit if you have any enjoyment of fabric art -or art in general.  What caught my eye this time around was -in addition to what she had stitched  , something she said: Neatness covers up a lot of chaos. I felt at home in that because I have noticed that sometimes I clean or tidy up simply for the fact that I have a sense of chaos on the inside.
