Den Store Kalkundagen

..intreffer her i huset til litt forskjellige tider. Noen ganger 2. dag, noen ganger senere.

The Big Turkey Day falls on the 27th this year. The Canadian tradition we brought with us is on felxible days here at our house. We cannot eat a big bird by ourselves, especially since one of us would rather have chicken instead, so we opt for the day my sister and family can come to visit. This year it fell on Monday, which is just fine. We will not go to bed hungry or thirsty tonight, in fact, upon arrival people should be handed a pair of stretchy pants! The table is set, we even added one so we all can have elbow room, the turkey is stuffed and in the oven and we are looking forward to being 11 at the table.
